Canning Tomato Products will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 by Cornell Cooperative Extension in Niagara County in the WNY Food Incubator kitchen in the 4-H Training Center, 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport.
Summer usually brings a bounty of tomatoes. Learn how to put them up by to use in later months. Participants will learn how to can and freeze tomatoes.This workshop will be led by a trained Master Food Preserver and will be a combination of a presentation and hands-on group learning experiences.
All course materials are included in the workshop fee of $20/workshop/person.
