Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve and Environmental Education Center will host Dare to Repair Cafe from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at Reinstein Woods, 93 Honorine Drive, Depew.
Anyone can bring broken items (lamps, vacuums, furniture, clothes etc.) to the repair cafe and have volunteer “fixers” try to repair the item for free. This is a community event designed to reduce waste going into landfills and build community. Friends of Reinstein Woods will be offering hot chocolate and coffee for sale while fixers are hard at work.
No registration is required. Anyone can call 716-683-5959 for information about volunteering as a fixer.
