Copernicus hike at Beaver Meadow

The Buffalo Audubon Society will hold a Copernicus hike from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, Java Center.

Participants will join Buffalo Audubon Naturalist Mark Carra for a full moon hike to celebrate the birthday of Nicolas Copernicus, the Polish born astronomer/mathematician who came up with a model of the solar system with the sun at its center instead of the Earth.
