10:00 am - 4:30 pm
Audubon Community Nature Center
Enter a room filled with free-flying monarch butterflies. You can feed them or wander over to see how citizen scientists tag the butterflies to track their migration to Mexico. Enjoy their life cycle as you examine monarch eggs and hold caterpillars. Go outside and use an insect net to catch insects. Scouts who attend will earn a special patch, on a first-come first-served basis.
Tickets are $8 for adults ages 16 and older and $6 for Nature Center members and children ages 3 to 15. Children 2 and younger get in free.
