Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program of Allegany County and the Hornell Garden Club will present “Color in Your Garden: How We See It – How We Use It” from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 in the Hornell Community Apartments, 74 Sawyer St., Hornell.

The event is free.

Mary Lu Wells, Master Gardener Volunteer, will be the presenter. Did you know a bluebird isn’t blue and planting your blue flowers at the rear of your garden will make your garden appear longer? Come and find out more.

After the presentation, there will be a pot-luck lunch, so bring a dish to pass.

Call Zoe Coombs, Hornell Garden Club member, at 607-587-8031 to reserve a seat.
