Christmas with the Critters at Jamestown Audubon

Date(s) - Friday, Dec 27, 2013
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Audubon Center & Sanctuary

Meet some Audubon animals during a live animal presentation at Christmas With the Critters from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 27 at Audubon Center and Sanctuary, 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, New York, and Warren, Pennsylvania.

Audubon staff will bring some of the animals out to meet you. You can learn about them and touch them.

Activities will include making a gift for the animals and reading a story and opening some of the animals’ presents.

Admission to the party is $8 for the public or $6 for Friends of the Nature Center. Or you may take a gift tag from the Giving Tree that stands in the lobby of the Nature Center building, purchase the item, and bring it back as your admission. If you can’t attend the event, you can place your wrapped gift under the tree beforehand.

The gifts benefit Audubon’s educational reptiles and amphibians, the fish, Liberty the Bald Eagle and the outdoor wildlife.

Items like hides, bark, light bulbs, food, and decorations help the animals directly. Items like paper towels, bleach, Ziploc bags, sponges, brushes, and dish and hand soap help Audubon care for the animals.

Reservations are not required.
