Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve and Environmental Education Center will hold a Christmas bird count for kids at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at Reinstein Woods, 93 Honorine Drive, Depew.
A great way to introduce kids to birding and escape the post-Christmas blahs. Teams of kids will compete to see who can find the most birds on 90-minute hikes at Reinstein Woods and other nearby sites. Binocular instruction and refreshments will be provided.
