The Kenmore Branch Library will hold a plant swap from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 10 at the library, 160 Delaware Rd., Kenmore. Take your extra vegetable plants, flower seedlings, plant divisions and seeds in disposable/reusable containers. Inspired by Amsterdam’s National Tulip Day, Lockwood’s started thinking about supplying the freshest possible cut tulips to their customers. They will be offering over 6,000 tulips in bloom that you can pick directly from the crate–bulbs and all–on Tulip Weekend. When you get them home, cut off the bulbs, place the stems in water, and enjoy! Refresh the water frequently to extend the life of your bouquet.
