Welcome to the world of scary plants during Carnivorous Curiosities from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

Registration closes Monday, October 24.

Go to https://www.buffalogardens.com/collections/gardens-exclusives/products/carnivorous-curiosities to secure your ticket.

Meet carnivores that feed on live flesh and thrive in conditions where other plants fail to survive. David Clark, CNLP will highlight these intriguing plants using his own carnivorous collection. Learn about potting, growing outdoors, creating mini-bogs, winter care, feeding/fertilizing, and more. Keep your flytraps snappy and your sundews dewy in this demonstration. This Gardens Exclusive includes the demonstration by David Clark, the gift of a small carnivorous plant, and a guest pass to visit the Gardens again at a later date.

The cost is $30 for non-members and $27 for members.
