Butterflies and Brews, an adult-only event, will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26 at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Rd., Jamestown.
Participants can learn about the life cycle and migration of the monarch butterfly while enjoying some great food and brews. The multipurpose room is filled with free-flying monarch butterflies and flowers, food stations are set up around the center, a central bar is stocked with beer and non-alcoholic beverages, and mini monarch programs and tagging happen throughout the evening. Be sure to take some cash to participate in the monarch-themed art raffle.
The cost is $30 prepaid through Aug. 22 or $35 at the door.
