The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold an bugs, bunnies and birds kids art workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6 at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
Children will learn to draw the cute, the furry and the feathered newborn babies of spring. Shapes, color, and shading techniques will bring them to life.
The cost is $20 for Botanical Gardens members and $25 for the general public.
These multi-medium workshops are for kids ages 5 to 15 and are taught by Joan Saba.
Pre-registration is required at least three days in advance and is available online.
Kids art workshops include:
- Feb. 25: Orchids in the rainforest
- March 11: Rainbow wishes
- April 22: Earth Day in art
- May 6: Bugs, bunnies and birds
- June 10: Bugs, bees and butterflies
