The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold an bugs, bees and butterflies kids art workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
Children will sculpt summer’s pollinators using soft polymer clay, wire and lots of artistic imagination.
The cost is $20 for Botanical Gardens members and $25 for the general public.
These multi-medium workshops are for kids ages 5 to 15 and are taught by Joan Saba.
Pre-registration is required at least three days in advance and is available online.
Kids art workshops include:
- Feb. 25: Orchids in the rainforest
- March 11: Rainbow wishes
- April 22: Earth Day in art
- May 6: Bugs, bunnies and birds
- June 10: Bugs, bees and butterflies
