The Buffalo Audubon Society will offer a chance to earn the Boy Scout Sustainability Merit Badge from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Rd., Java Center.
This badge is required for Eagle Scout. The class will explore the ways scouts and their family can creatively help make our world more sustainable.
Prerequisites include #2 Water A and B, #2 Food A and B, #2 Community A and B, #2 Energy A and C, #2 Stuff A and B and #5 A and B. Scouts should be be sure to read the entire merit badge booklet before the workshop.
Pre-registration is required, please call 585-457-3228 to register. The cost to participate is $12.
