The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy will hold a guided tour of the 40-acre Bentley Preserve, located on Bentley Avenue in Ellicott (Jamestown), from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9.
dDiscover this sanctuary’s wonderful birds, wildlife and plants. Along the walk, they will look and listen for and identify various migratory birds and other species, such as warblers, woodpeckers, sparrows and more. They will also be looking for and identifying the many native plant species found at this preserve.
This event is free for conservancy members, with a suggested $5 per person or $10 per family donation for non-members.
