Botanical Gardens: Horticulture IV classes

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold Horticulture IV classes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. five Saturdays this spring at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

The classes provide more in depth gardening information and focus on many popular and relevant topics. Horticulture I and Horticulture II are not a prerequisite.

The scheduled topics are:

HCP 401 – April 9: Gardening for Wildlife
HCP 402 – April 16: Four Seasons Gardening
HCP 403 – April 23: Creative Containers and Raised Beds
HCP 404 – June 4: Herbs and Medicinal Plants
HCP 405 – June 11: Backyard Ecology

The cost is $105 for the series or $22 per class for Botanical Gardens members and $130 for the series or $27 per class for non-members.
