The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold Horticulture III classes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on five Saturdays this winter at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
The classes provide more in-depth gardening information and focus on many popular and relevant topics. Horticulture I and Horticulture II are not a prerequisite.
The scheduled topics are:
HCP 301 – Feb. 20: Sustainable Landscaping
HCP 302 – Feb. 27: Gardening with Native Plants
HCP 303 – March 5: Shade Gardening
HCP 304 – March 12: Small Space and Urban Gardening
HCP 305 – March 19: Beneficial Insects and Pollinators
The cost is $105 for the series or $22 per class for Botanical Gardens members and $130 for the series or $27 per class for non-members.
