The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold beginner watercolor classes from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
Taught by Joan Saba, professional artist and teacher, these classes fill quickly. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. A syllabus and suggested supplies can be found online.
The cost is $18 per class or $65 per series for Botanical Gardens members and $20 per class or $70 per series for the general public.
The classes will be offered in several four-class series:
BMA: Feb. 27, March 6, 13, 20
BMB: March 27, April 3, 10, 17
BMC: April 24, May 1, 8, 15
BMD: May 22, 29, June 5, 12
