The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is offering horticulture classes for gardeners of all backgrounds and experience. Backyard Gardening is taught by David Clark and is designed for gardeners with some knowledge of plant care and maintenance, but looking to expand their knowledge basic backyard gardening. This series is also a great refresher for experienced gardeners looking a new perspective and to ask questions!
Classes are suitable for students 16 and older.
The series covers the following topics:
April 29: Backyard Ecology
June 3: Small Space and Urban Gardening
June 10: Creative Containers and Raised Beds
June 17: Herbs and Medicinal Plants
June 24: Vegetables and Organic Gardening
July 8: Tough Plants for Tough Sites
