Audubon Community Nature Center

The Audubon Community Nature Center will hold First Friday: “Baby birds and bird houses” from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, June 7 at the Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Rd., Jamestown.

The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for Nature Center members.

Walk-ins will be welcome. Reservations can be made online.

Putting up a nesting box for birds can be rewarding for both you and wildlife. It gives people a chance to see the lives and times of birds up close and to get unprecedented looks at them as they grow. The birds in turn do a great job at controlling caterpillars and other insect pests that may bother you or your landscape.

Participants will join John Ruska for conversation, photography and more to discover the amazing birds that use nest boxes.
