Buffalo Audubon Society will host an Autumnal Equinox Celebration Hike 7 – 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Rd, Java Center.
Celebrate the turning of the season with naturalist Mark Carra at Beaver Meadow. What is the origin of the equinox and what is the equilux? Attendees will walk and talk about subjects like the tradition of the changing seasons to the rich folklore surrounding it.
