Audubon Community Nature Center
The Jamestown chapter of the Audubon Society was founded in 1957 by a group of individuals who were inspired by the wonder of nature. It was their dream to create a place where local residents could come and learn about the many natural treasures found in our own back yards. Since then, Audubon Community Nature Center has become an indispensable part of the local community providing environmental education programs for all ages.
Join the Community Nature Center in celebrating and honoring the people who have connected the community to nature. The program will include brief remarks remembering those who have inspired those connections, followed by a planting of daffodil bulbs in their honor. A potluck lunch will be served following the planting.
Admission to this program is free. Reservations can be made online.
