Audubon Center & Sanctuary
Audubon Nature Center’s First Friday Lunch Bunch will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, Feb. 5, at the center located at 1600 Riverside Rd., one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, NY, and Warren, PA.
The Lunch Bunch will focus on the experiences of Bill Potter, a retired biology teacher from Port Allegany, Pennsylvania. Potter will share his wonders through a stunning photography presentation, “My Love of Nature: A Photo Essay.” Potter spends many enjoyable hours looking through the camera lens at birds and other creatures, filling his eyes and his mind with the beauty of nature, capturing what he can with photography. The photo essay will include many photographs, from coyotes and rarely seen birds like the Bittern and Golden-crowned Kinglet, to gorgeous scenery through the seasons.
Following the program, coffee and tea will be provided; bring your own brown bag lunch. The fee for attending is $8 for the general public or $6 for Friends of the Nature Center. Reservations are not required. To learn more, call (716) 569-2345.
