Arts & crafts show with garden items

The Unitarian-Universalist Church of Buffalo will present its ninth annual Summer Arts and Craft Show on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28 at the church, 695 Elmwood Ave., corner of West Ferry, Buffalo. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Exhibitors include Anne Brierley (Steps and Stones) with hypertufa, “Re-creations” by Debra Florian (charming glass ornaments for indoor and outdoor gardens), David Cyr and Chris Hempel’s “Creative Copper Wire”v(copper and glass items including functional and decorative garden items), Constance Krueger’s hand- painted solar sconces, whimsical creations from Chary Robbins and Cheryl Swanson, herbal creations from Paula D’Amico and homemade jams from Damon Robertson.

There is no admission charge.

In addition to the show there will be tours of the architecturally significant church sanctuary. The re-done outdoor labyrinth at the church is always open. See the community garden and the church’s garden nurtured by Master Gardener Nancy Thomas.
