The Arcangel Gallery at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will host an exhibition of work by Ann Parker from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 3 through May 28 at the Arcangel Gallery in the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
With florescence, using vintage manual lenses on a digital camera, Ann captures color, light, shadow, depth and movement in flowers and leaves. With the manual lenses, (from 1960-1985) the photos take on a painterly look, giving the finished photo an Impressionistic quality.
The exhibit is included with Botanical Gardens admission.
Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors (ages 62 and older), $9 for students (ages 13 and older with ID), $6 for children ages 3 – 12 and free for Botanical Gardens members and children 2 and under.
