The Buffalo Audubon Society will host the 118th Annual Christmas bird count from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, Java Center.
Join other birdwatchers from all over Western New York in the oldest running community science project in the world.
Participants will spend the morning counting birds in and around Beaver Meadow to help scientists understand changes in the local and worldwide bird populations.
