Some amazing plants are on special this week through Saturday, July 25 at Lockwood’s Greenhouses, 4484 Clark St., Hamburg.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Sweetberry Honeysuckle
Sugar Mountain Blue and Eisbar varieties

Look closely in the leaves and you can see elongated berries in deep purple. Similar to a tart blueberry, these fruits have a higher level of antioxidants and 3 X’s the vitamin C. You need one of each for pollination, but they both get fruit. Very hardy in zones 1-6. It will survive WNY winters with ease.

Hydrangea ‘Blarney Stone’

Soft pink or blue flowers look beautiful against the chartreuse and green variegated foliage, and appear every year on this reliable reblooming hydrangea. Soil pH will affect flower color. Fresh and green as the Emerald Isle, its variegated foliage is a first for reblooming hydrangeas. Add it to gardens for months of beautiful color. 2′-3′ tall, 2′-3′ wide
