A class called All About Herbs will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at the Martin House Complex, 125 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo.
Herbs can be used as formal edging, in rock gardens, in unusual containers and in beautiful combinations and can connect honey bees and butterflies.
In this interactive class, join Nellie Gardner, Martin House horticulturist, in learning how to place these scented, textural plants in all types of gardens. Gardener will show you how to harvest herbs for drying, cut them for use in nosegays and bouquets, and make delicious teas.
You can design an herb collection in your own container, or purchase one the day of class. All other materials are included. An outside landscape tour is included.
The class is $40 for the public and $35 for members.
