The Niagara Frontier Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 in Amherst Community Church, 77 Washington Hwy., Snyder. Please park in the rear, enter through the back door, and proceed upstairs to Fellowship Hall.

Alan Baczkiewicz, blogger and author, will discuss his new book The Backyard Bird Sanctuary: A Beginners Guide to Creating a Wildlife Bird Sanctuary at Home.

At 7:30 p.m., Margie Hanrahan, founding board member of Messenger Woods Wildcare and Education Center, will present “Wildlife Rescue 101.”

This will be the group’s last regular meeting until September 13.

The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is celebrating 100 years as a conservation organization, serving to protect New York State’s wild lands and waters by promoting responsible outdoor recreation and building a statewide constituency of land stewardship advocates.
