“Sharpening the Eye Through Opening the Heart: A weekend exploration into contemplative photography” will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27 at the CG Jung Center, 408 Franklin St., Buffalo. The workshop will be held in the Allentown area during Garden Walk Buffalo, and gardens will be an integral photo topic. The photo shoots will be out and about in the midst of the gardens and and there will be people-watching photo ops.
Buffalo Miksang presents this workshop. Miksang is Tibetan for good eye.
In this weekend program for beginning and advanced photographers, participants explore the practice of contemplative photography, opening to the everyday world without judgment, aggression or defensiveness. Contemplative photography is meditation on the move, using your eyes and a camera to enjoy and share the vivid moment.
The price is $90.
