The Western New York Rose Society is an educational, non-profit organization dedicated to the cultivation and enjoyment of roses, with roots back to the 1930s.
It welcomes all who are interested in the enjoyment of roses. The focus is on the care & enhancement of individuals’ personal rose gardens, how to select roses for your garden including special consideration of the Western New York climate, where to buy roses, how to grow the roses, characteristics of the various types of roses, how to exhibit roses, and other rose-related issues. The monthly meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at St. Stephens-Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 750 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville.
