Oakmoss Education and Dailys Catering are collaborating with a locally unique 2-part program where participants will learn ethical harvesting of edible plants and innovative ways of incorporating these finds in delectable culinary creations.
The first session takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at West Falls Park, 511 West Falls Rd., West Falls. It will introduce the concepts of edible wild plant identification and ethical harvesting. The second session at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, will be held at Dailys Catering (594 Main St., East Aurora) where attendees will be guided through creatively using foraged plants along with crops from local farms in food preparation.
The cost for this 2-part, adult only series is $60 per person. Advance registration required and reservations can be made online.
