Wildlife Winter Wonderland

Join the Citizen Coalition for Wildlife and Environment for a Wildlife Winter Wonderland at the Alt Nature Center, 2489 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. It will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 and Dec. 16.

Walkable displays will include holiday-themed nature scenes and wildlife educational displays.

Inside the holiday-decorated schoolhouse there will be free craft-making appropriate for all ages, including wildlife ornaments and woodland animal decorations. There will be wildlife and nature-themed gifts to purchase and hot cocoa and cookies.

Wear your boots, dress for the weather and learn how wildlife survive and thrive in winter time.
