There will be a Sound Bath at Graycliff led by Jennifer Fenner of 716 Zen Vibes and Megan Callahan, Founder of Yoga Parkside.
The sound bath will begin promptly at 5:30pm, but participants are welcome to arrive at 5pm, linger in the historic gardens and grounds and get settled. The sound bath experience will involve only the first floor of Graycliff’s Frank Lloyd Wright-designed main house.
These are intense times on the planet, and many people are tired and weary, their nervous systems in need of deep rest and tending. Sound has a tremendous effect on the central nervous system, helping it to unwind and facilitating healing. Let the acoustics of the crystal bowls, drums, chimes, and vocals, along with the gorgeous backdrop of our historic site, help you ground yourself.
This special autumn edition of a Sound Bath at Graycliff includes a 90-minute experience in the living room of Graycliff’s Frank Lloyd Wright-designed main house that will feature a full sound bath, with some gentle stretching and a deep restorative meditation. Now is the time to relax and go inward.
Please bring a mat, a blanket and a pillow, and anything else you need to be comfortable for the duration of the sound bath and practice. If you have an eye mask, consider bringing that as well. This is a trauma informed and inclusive environment.
