Over 30 years of research in Japan has shown Shinrin-Yoku to have a profound healing effect on our mental, emotional and physical well-being. It must be experienced to be appreciated. Draves Arboretum is offering a chance to experience this Japanese practice on Saturday, June 10 from 1 – 4 PM. In this practice, loosely translated as forest bathing, you will be skillfully guided in a gentle, enjoyable, full sensory experience of the forms, sounds, fragrances, textures, tastes and energy of the exquisite landscape, rare trees and shrubs, ponds and streams throughout the Arboretum. The walk will conclude with a wild tea, foraged from a delicious Arboretum tree.
Experience for yourself the art of Forest Bathing with Deborah Denome, Certified Forest Therapy Guide at Finger Lakes Forest Immersion.
The cost is $35.00.
