Planting event at Hyde Park

Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper is installing “rock socks” along the waterway at Hyde Park. Volunteers are being sought and all supplies are being furnished by BN Waterkeeper. All volunteers should be able to bend and walk on uneven surfaces and should be prepared to get a little wet. The Rock Socks weigh between 35 and 50 lbs and it is anticipated that each volunteer will be able to move between 15 and 20 Rock Socks during the event. Volunteers can park at 3200 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY, 14301.
