Plant sale & more in Orchard Park

“A Celebration of Moms and Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Oh My!” will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the Orchard Park Historic Train Depot, 395 South Lincoln, Orchard Park.
It is sponsored by the Orchard Park Garden Club, the club’s evening branch called The Seedlings, the Village of Orchard Park and the Railway Historical Society.
The event will feature:
- Boutique plant sale. It includes hanging baskets, perennials from members gardens, trees for a chickadee and milkweed to attract monarch butterflies.
- Activities:
- Plant a Sneaker! Bring a sneaker and plant with colorful annuals.
- Become a butterfly! Photo Op
- Decorate and enjoy cookies from Bookend Baker.
- Meet and Greet: (more photo ops)
- The Queen Bee and her Handsome Drone
- The hens of Wagner Farms
- The alpacas
- Thanks to You Award, recognition by Mayor Joann Litwin to Emery Wittmeyer and the Department of Public Works crew for planting a fruit orchard
Other activities will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Orchard Park Library, S-4570 South Buffalo St., Orchard Park.
