Lunch series: water conservation techniques

The fall 2024 Master Gardener Lunch & Learn series will be held via Zoom or in person in Jamestown and Ellicottville.

The in-person sessions will be held at:

• Cattaraugus County Cornell Cooperative Extension, 28 Parkside Dr.,
  Ellicottville
• Chautauqua County Cornell Cooperative Extension, Carnahan Center, Jamestown Community College, 241 James St., Jamestown.

The second session will be held from noon to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 and the topic will be “Water Conservation Techniques in the Garden.”

Join Master Gardener apprentice and CWC Land Specialist, Bethany O’Hagan as she shares techniques you can use in the garden to conserve water. Some examples include applying mulch or straw, using drip irrigation, collecting rainwater and more! Join her to learn how you can be a good steward of the land.
