At the June 13 meeting, the topic will be “Using Native Plants in Your Garden.” Lyn Chimera, Master Gardener will give a presentation highlighting the importance of using natives and a large variety of native plants that will grow successfully in our area. Also discussed will be what is a native plant vs. a weed or an invasive; the advantages and disadvantages of growing natives; how to grow them and where to get them.
The meeting will be held at the Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers at Delaware Roads, Kenmore.
