During this class, participants will fully enjoy the beauty and bounty of GCV&M’s Heirloom Gardens! Led by Historic Gardener Emily Conable, will learn about the 19th-century “language of flowers,” and take a guided walk through our lush heirloom gardens, fully in bloom for the summer season.
Learn how 19th-century garden enthusiasts pressed and preserved flowers, using unique flower varieties from our heirloom gardens! Participants will press flowers to take home and turn into a 19th-century-inspired decorative piece.
