The Buffalo-Niagara Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby will hold its chapter meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 in the Downtown Buffalo Library.
You can participate either in person or on Zoom. Email buffalo@citizensclimatelobby.org for more information.
Chapter meetings are a mix of learning, connecting and action. All are welcome to the meeting to learn how to make a difference on climate change.
Are you worried about pollution and climate change? Do you want to communicate powerfully on issues that are important to you? Are you solution oriented? Do you want to encourage your elected officials to take action to mitigate climate disaster?
Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to educate citizens on climate solutions. They work to empower people to be extraordinary advocates for our environment and future.
CCL advocates for a market-based, consumer friendly solution that is effective in combating climate change, and has support from economists and climate scientists alike. They strive to build respectful relationships with lawmakers, community leaders, media outlets, and other citizen organizations in order to build political will for a livable world.
