The Buffalo Area Daylily Society (BADS) will hold its annual Plantapalooza at the East Aurora Senior Center.
For the Plantapalooza, each attendee will receive a strip of raffle tickets when they check in to the meeting. You will separate your tickets and put one half into the bags of the daylilies you wish to purchase. If your ticket is drawn, you are offered the opportunity to buy that daylily at a special members’ price.
The daylilies are coming from hybridizer Curt Hanson, of Crintonic Gardens in Ohio, who is well known for both the quality of his plants and their imaginative names.
Carol Ann Harlos will present “What’s Bugging My Plants?” Harlos is an award-winning retired math and science teacher, Master Gardener, beekeeper, writer, and speaker. She tends extensive gardens, including herbs, and loves learning from others and sharing her knowledge.
There will be door prizes, BADS Bucks and super snacks. Please take your favorite appetizer or dessert to share.
