Arcangel Gallery: Reappraisal

Enter a vibrant world of flowers in the Arcangel Gallery this fall during Reappraisal, an exhibit by Sarah Bellinger. This series of oil paintings “…explores the unexpected beauty in the discarded remnants of floral arrangements.”
Water plays a pivotal role in this work, creating a delicate dance among the petals and serving as a metaphor for perception – what we choose to notice and what we often ignore. Viewers are invited to
immerse themselves in the flood of colors and allow the current of the petals to flow through them.
With this body of work, the artist hopes to compel viewers to see beyond the overt charms of daily life, and witness the elegance in what is often disregarded.
