$2,000 scholarship offered by MG in Erie County

Graduating high school seniors who reside in Erie County can apply for a 2026 Cornell Cooperative Extension Erie County Master Gardener College Scholarship. This includes all public, private and home school graduating senior students.

The deadline is Thursday, March 26.

The selected recipient will receive a one-time award of $2,000.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be accepted by a recognized, accredited college or
university to study horticulture, botany, or a related field. Related fields may include but are not limited
to agriculture, entomology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, forestry, genetics, food
technology, landscape design, sustainable agriculture, urban geography and urban planning.

Completed applications must be submitted online or by mail by 4 p.m. Thursday, March 26. An application can be mailed to the Cornell Cooperative Extension office, 21 South Grove Street, East Aurora, NY 1405, Attn: MG Scholarship Chairperson.
