Homesteading classes: growing garlic for home gardeners

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County is offering a second series of homesteading classes this fall at 6 p.m. on Thursdays at its training center, 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport. Growing garlic for home gardeners will be offered Oct. 6. Instructor John will walk students through the basics of growing garlic at home. The cost is $15.
