Do you like to keep the water in your fountains splashing on high? Bernie Grosser and Jim Jankowski of West Seneca do. The sound is soothing, especially since there is a noisy convenience store nearby. If some water splashes out of the fountain, it it helps to water the nearby plants.

The problem that the West Seneca residents had was that the water level in the fountains would get low, and they had to keep refilling the fountains.

Now they have a way to keep their fountains refilled automatically. The trick is the faucet adapter, which you can buy at a hardware store.

As you can see in the photo, you can attach two hoses at the same time and adjust them separately. You can attach your  garden hose to one side and small tubing to the other. The tubing goes to the fountain. You can set it to flow at just a dribble so water oozes out, keeping your fountain full. And when you want to water your garden, your hose is still available.

  1. Wonderful gadget! I have one on my rain barrel. One port for filling my watering can, the other stays attached to the soaker hose.
