Friends of Reinstein Woods are holding a native perennial plant sale. You can order online. Orders must be received by Friday, Feb. 5.

See the list of available plants here.

All plants come as seedlings in a six-inch pot.

Plant pickup is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, 93 Honorine Drive, Depew.

For more information, call 683-5959.

Part of the mission of the Friends of Reinstein Woods is to help protect and restore natural habitats. Native plants are an important part of this because they provide sources of nectar, pollen, and seeds for both insects and birds. Not only will these flowers create an attractive garden, they help wildlife such as hummingbirds, butterflies, and honeybees.
