An all-new light show called Lumagination will be held at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

During this exhibit, the fun begins even before you get inside. A warm and cozy tent will welcome you as you stroll up the front walk. The tent will include interactive elements as a prelude to what you will see inside.

Rooms will have different themes. One greenhouse will have a Moroccan Desert theme, with a blazing sun and moving red and orange lights to evoke a drier landscape. In the Zen Orb room, colorful spheres will be scattered around and visitors can change the colors with their cellphones. The Space Odyssey room will be lit with black lights and bathed in fog while another room will be transformed into a magical fairy village. Finally, visitors will walk through a thunderstorm with flashes of lightning.

The whole thing will be kicked off with a Launch Party to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Avenue, Buffalo.
